Negative Effects of C.D.

X Geographic Isolation; places like Japan: surrounded by water. It is hard for people to travel over to the country just to trade. Some simply don't bother. Others may go to greater extents to trade than others. Other places like Europe for example, that have to deal with the Sierra desert, people don't want to go through lots lots of sand and deserted wastes to trade with a certain culture.

X Some cultures were introduced to new diseases. One such crisis that occured was called the Bubonic Plauge. A lot of people died from this disease. 1/3 of Europes population to be exact. Mainly preists, the only good result (and certainly strange) of this was that underwear was invented.

BAD: African Slave Trade, or the triangle trade.

Positive Effects of C.D.

Many ideas were traded resulting to new ways of life. Also, new cultures and advance technology was invented. Some include, Zionism, Hindusim, buddhism, etc.. Although some of these new ideas and bringing people to other counties didn' t work because this resulted into greedy people who went for slaves. Look at "BAD" in the Negative Effects of C.D.. The triangle trade was good for exchanging spices and other resources, but the slaves being traded was NOT good.
